She continues to add to her accolades, including being double Olympian, SEA Games multiple Gold medalist, and now Asian Fencing Championships Bronze medalist. Raffles Institution Shines at the 2025 NSG Fencing Championships!

Once again, we celebrate the remarkable achievements of our fencers at this year’s NSG. Facing off against some of the nation’s top talent, our boys showed grit, skill, and sportsmanship throughout a series of challenging bouts.

In the B Division, Devin Ding delivered an impressive performance to finish Top 8 in Foil, demonstrating true composure and tenacity.

The C Division fencers matched that energy with outstanding results:

Max Zhang (🥈, Epee)
Alexander Kuo (Top8, Foil)
Nathaniel Chan (Top8, Epee and Saber)

Notably, both Alexander and Nathaniel achieved Top 8 performances in non-native weapons, demonstrating exceptional mental agility and firm foundations, outwitting even practised and accomplished fencers at their own game.

Their collective efforts earned 2nd place overall in C Division and 4th in B Division, a testament to their dedication and growth. With such strong performances, our fencers are poised to return even stronger next season. Well done, boys!

Kiria completed her comeback to the fencing team from an injury-plagued season by putting up an amazing performance to finish 23rd in the Wuxi Women`s Epee World Cup, earning enough points to catapult her back into #1 in the Singapore Rankings.
