Blade club fencers and schools performed very well at the National Novices held January 27-29, winning a total of 4 golds out of 6, as well as a bundle of silvers and bronzes. In 4 of the events, we took both the 1st and 2nd positions (Men's and Women's Foil, Men's and Women's Sabre); we narrowly missed out on the 5th gold in the Women's Epee competition. Congratulations to all our winners!

Novice 2011 was held at Clementi Sports Hall over 2 weekends from the 22nd to 23rd and 29th to 30th of January. Fencers from all age groups with under 3 years of fencing experience took part in the event. Blade Club did exceptionally well in this competition, sweeping 5 golds, 4 silvers and 8 bronzes, out of 12 events.

Fencing Singapore Challenge 2011 was held at Clementi Sports Hall on the 15th and 16th of January.
During Fencing Singapore Challenge 2011, our men epeeists did the club proud by bagging both first and second places and our women sabrer who took home the gold with a stunning 15-4 score in the finals.

The Raffles Invites 2010 Fencing Competition was held at Raffles Institution (Junior College) from the 3rd to the 5th of December. Blade Club did exceptionally well in this competition, sweeping 8 golds, 4 silvers and 9 bronzes. This competition saw fencers from various secondary schools, junior colleges and universities competing, and was an extremely enriching experience for our fencers.
