Yet another competition over another weekend in December. This time, its the Duxton Plains Invites 2009, organized by the Duxton Plains fencing club. This was an open event catered mostly to students and young adults.

Our fencers managed 4 Golds, 3 Silvers, and 2 Bronzes out of 6 events. This event was made a little more exciting because the 1st and 2nd place fencers in each weapon group could play off in a mixed direct elimination for FIE fencing equipment prizes. One of our foilists walked away with a brand new FIE mask, and another epeeist won himself a new blade.
