The Blade Club Fencing Training Camp (FTC) 2010 will be held from 1 August to 9 August (dates have been changed from 30 July to 7 August as of 12 June), right after the European Championships held in Leipzig, Germany (16 July to 22 July) and before the Youth Olympic Games held in Singapore (14 August to 26 August). The FTC2010 is targeted at intermediate to advanced fencers from the Asia and will be an intensive training camp designed for exposure to world-class fencers and high-impact training. The camp will be held in Singapore's shopping district, Orchard Road.
Blade Club is hosting introductory fencing courses for students during the June holidays! For just SGD30, get the a complete fencing experience and introduction to the sport in one session! Learn the basic movements for attack and defence, and get a chance to suit up and fence with the real weapons! All safety gear and equipment is provided. Sign-up now!
Blade Club is holding free Fencing workshops and testing sessions on Saturdays June 5th and June 12th. You may register for the event through this form. The testing and the introductory lesson are free for all eligible Primary 5 students, and sign-ups are taken on a first-come-first-served basis. For students that perform well and show potential, they will be invited to join a special program for fencing that will provide twice weekly training for free as part of a youth talent development drive.
